Stained Glass Restoration, Strathfield, Sydney.
The window was badly damaged and required a full re-lead. A rubbing was taken to retain the leadlines before the window was dismantled. Several of the painted inner border section were smashed and I re-painted and fired these in a kiln, The owl had several cracks through the centre section, in order to retain the original paintwork I glued these pieces end to end and was able to keep thos original art work. Windows designed by Jeffery Hamilton. I built these windows while at Hamilton Design Studio in Sydney along with Master Craftsman Ben Jenkins.
I was honoured to work with two master glass artists while at this studio.
