I’m Greg Brown and I have over thirty years experience working in leadlight and stained glass, I have worked for leading glass studios in Sydney, London and Geelong.
No job is too big or too small from a single piece of broken glass to full restoration and re-leading. Often the window can be repaired on site while some jobs will require de-glazing, boarding up while the repair/restoration is carried out and re-glazing when the work is complete. Another service is cleaning of old leadlights, over time grime, dust and dirt will build up over the leadlight, particularly around the lead and in corner joints dulling the light and reducing the vibrancy of colours. This can be cleaned up, the lead re-polished resulting in your leadlight showing its original glory and colour.

I began working full time in Stained Glass & Leadlight in the late eighties at The Hamilton Design studio with Jeff Hamilton in Lane Cove, Sydney.
Hamilton Design was and is one of Sydney’s most highly regarded Stained Glass Studios, carrying out design, restoration and repair work on both a domestic and commercial level. After ten years with Hamilton Design I travelled to London and worked for Glasswork studio in Twickenham also carrying out design, restoration and repair work on both a domestic and commercial level as well as being introduced to new techniques such as sand blasting, cutting and polishing and fire polishing along with the creation of large scale glass sculptures. This position also offered the opportunity to work on the restoration of stained glass windows up to six hundred years old. Upon returning to Sydney I returned to Hamilton Design where I also worked as a teacher for several years. Following this I worked at Glass Design Solutions in Brookvale, Sydney, also carrying out design, restoration and repair work on both a domestic and commercial level as well as being introduced to new techniques including building Glass Stairs, walls and floors and large sheet slumped and sandblasted glass. Since then I have continued to work with glass being involved in glass blowing and glass bead making, slumping and fusing glass and of course leadlighting. I now live in Ocean Grove Victoria and carry out leadlight repair, restoration and design, work throughout Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast, along with creating flamework glass beads which are available at local markets around Geelong, the Bellarine, the Surf Coast .
